Missouri results finally official: Trump, Clinton squeak out wins by under 1,700 votes

The Missouri secretary of state finally made it official on Tuesday, certifying that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump notched wins in the state’s primaries March 15.

The margins were oh-so-narrow, with Trump beating Texas. Sen. Ted Cruz by 1,695 votes out of 940,000 cast in the Republican primary. Clinton beat Vermont Sen, Bernie Sanders by 1,574 votes out of 630,000 cast in the Democratic primary.

Democrats:

• Bernie Sanders: 310,711 (49.364%)

Republicans:

• Donald Trump: 383,631 (40.844%)
• Ted Cruz: 381,666 (40.634%)
