Colbert counts the ways Paul Ryan can say 'no' to White House bid

In what he said was his first late night comedy appearance, House Speaker Paul Ryan parried with Late Show host Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night over how many ways he can reject the notion that he will run for the White House.

In clear English, Ryan said, it's "No."

"OK, how about clear German?" Colbert asked.

Ryan chucked and said "Nein."

Colbert tried Russian.

"Nyet,' the speaker said.

"Wow you seem to know a lot of foreign languages," Colbert said. "that kind of international experience will really come in handy if you decide to accept the Republican nomination, sir."

He may never be president, but he is good straight man.
