Prince once wrote song named for Donald Trump

Among the many nuggets emerging about the long legacy left by musical artist Prince, who died Thursday, is the fact he wrote a song from 1990 named for a prominent political figure of 2016: Donald Trump.

Recorded by an R&B group called The Time for a 1990 album, "Donald Trump (Black Version)" is a seduction song.

Check out sample lyrics, courtesy of BuzzFeed:

"Donald Trump (black version), maybe that’s what you need.

A man that fulfills your every wish, your every dream.

Donald Trump (black version), come on take a chance.

A 1990s love affair, the real romance."

For his part, Trump tweeted Thursday: "I met Prince on numerous occasions. He was an amazing talent and wonderful guy. He will be greatly missed!"
