Ted Cruz hugged his wife immediately after announcing the suspension of his presidential campaign, but when he went in for a second hug, he elbowed her in the face.

Moments after suspending his campaign Tuesday, Ted Cruz accidentally jabbed and then elbowed his wife, Heidi Cruz, in the face. The mishap occurred after Donald Trump delivered a knockout blow to Cruz's campaign in that day's Indiana primary.
