Survey: Active military favor Trump over Clinton by 2-1 margin

Active U.S. servicemembers say they favor Donald Trump for president over Hillary Clinton by a wide margin, but they are also unhappy with the choices, according to a new survey by the Military Times.

In the survey of 1,915 active servicemembers, 49% backed Trump and only 21% backed Clinton, with 13% supporting Libertarian Gary Johnson.

But that support does not appear very enthusiastic.

As The Times reports:

"More than 61 percent indicated they are 'dissatisfied' or 'very dissatisfied' with Trump as the Republican nominee, including 28 percent of those who intend to vote for him. More than 82 percent said the same about Clinton, the Democratic nominee, with 30 percent of those pledging to vote for her voicing displeasure with the choice."
