At airport, in cabs, at convention center: GOP attendees can't escape anti-Trump ads
CLEVELAND — A super PAC in support of Hillary Clinton is making sure that people around Cleveland are getting a good dose of anti-Trump.
Priorities USA launched a six-figure digital ad buy focused on Cleveland’s airport and hotels along with the Quicken Loans Arena (where the event takes place) and its surrounding locations and Facebook.
The geo-specific ads focus on the praise Trump has received from North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, Russian President Vladimir Putin, former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke and anti-abortion activist Troy Newman.
They’ll also have an advertisement in 125 cabs throughout Cleveland that will play 28,000 times over the course of the convention.
The cab ads feature people wearing Donald Trump T-shirts reading some of Trump’s more controversial statements and ending with the question: “Does Donald Trump really speak for you?"
