Blake Shelton is really confused about the DNC email leak

Last week's fiery Republican National Convention, this weekend's DNC email leaks — it's all too much for Blake Shelton to handle.

The singer enjoys tweeting his irreverent views on politics, previously mulling a potential presidential run with country peer Luke Bryan as his VP and Voice co-host Adam Levine as "my (expletive)."

On Monday, ahead of the Democratic National Convention kickoff, Shelton shared his confusion over the recent onslaught of breaking political news.

"I just can't keep up!!" he wrote. "Did Clinton really just hire Shultz [sic] or is that just gossip?!!"

After going back and forth with followers (and dropping some expletives along the way), Shelton tweeted a statement many following the U.S. elections can agree with.

"I need a drink," he joked. Can we join you?
