Clinton releases new Trump attack ad on national security

Hillary Clinton attempted to use Donald Trump’s own words against him in an ad focused on national security released Monday.

“In times of crisis America depends on steady leadership,” the narrator says.

Then a clip of Trump comes on screen: “Knock the crap out of him, would you? Seriously.”

“Clear thinking,” the narrator continues.

“I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me,” Trump says.

“And calm judgment,” the narrator says.

“And you can tell them to go f--- themselves,” Trump says.

“Because all it takes is one wrong move,” the narrator says.

“I would bomb the s--- out of them,” Trump says.

“Just one,” the narrator finishes.

On Monday, a Clinton campaign official told Paste BN that the campaign will release $80 million in television advertisements in battleground states throughout the fall. The campaign also expects to air $15 million worth of radio ads.

The Clinton campaign is targeting Florida, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, North Carolina and the Omaha market in Nebraska.

On Friday, Trump released his first ad of the general election, which cost nearly $5 million and aired in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida.
