Jefferson County, Colo., is a crucial county in a swing state, and one of the people in charge of winning it for Donald Trump is just 12 years old.

Weston Imer is co-chair of the Jefferson County Trump office, which he helped launch, according to a Fox 31 Denver report. In his role, he coordinates with volunteers and makes calls.

While Weston isn’t listed on the official paperwork — that’s his mom, Laurel Imer — he plans to continue work every day right up until he goes back to school in September.

Weston told the Denver station that the 2016 campaign won't be his last. He says he'd like to run for president one day, with Trump’s son Barron (who is 10 years old) as his running mate.

"2040 watch for me," Weston told Fox 31.

Clinton is currently 11 points ahead of Trump is Colorado, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.
