Clinton video hits Trump on 'embarrassing' Mexico trip

Hillary Clinton has released a new video hitting Donald Trump for his "embarrassing" trip to Mexico.

After Trump's Wednesday visit with Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto, the Republican presidential nominee said that the two didn't discuss who would pay for a wall along the southern U.S. border. Trump has made the border wall— and forcing Mexico to pay for it — a centerpiece of his campaign. "Who pays for the wall? We didn't discuss," Trump told reporters.

Shortly after the meeting, Nieto took to social media and the airwaves. "I was very clear and emphatic that Mexico won't pay for the wall," Pena Nieto says in a clip included in the video.

"Imagine a president promising to make another country pay for the centerpiece of his agenda. Imagine he finally has the chance to negotiate with that country's president," the video says. "Imagine he gets shut down. Imagine he lies about," it says.

"As a candidate, Donald Trump has already embarrassed us on the world stage. Imagine him as president," the video says.
