Trump surrogate blasts Clinton for 'hypocrisy' on Jay Z
A Cleveland pastor is not impressed with Hillary Clinton using a Jay Z concert to persuade Ohio youth to back her.
Rev. Darrell Scott, a Trump supporter who has introduced Trump at rallies and spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention this year is now slamming Clinton for her scheduled appearance with Jay Z Friday.
Last month, Scott’s church hosted a Trump town hall with Fox News’ Sean Hannity aimed at African American outreach.
Clinton will appear with Jay Z in Cleveland Friday night for a get-out-the-vote concert. There have been rumors that his wife, Beyonce, may join him, but the campaign has not confirmed that.
Ohio is a closely watched battleground state where Trump has a slight edge. Both campaigns have spent a significant of time in the state.
