Trump hits Democrats over Obamacare repeal

The topic of today's Donald Trump tweet storm: Obamacare.

A day after warning Republicans to be careful over how they repeal President Obama's signature health care plan, Trump used social media to hit Democrats over the politics of the issue.

The Democrats, led by "head clown" and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, "know how bad ObamaCare is and what a mess they are in," the president-elect said said during a series of early morning tweets.

He added, "instead of working to fix it, they do the typical political thing and BLAME," and it it is "time for Republicans & Democrats to get together and come up with a healthcare plan that really works - much less expensive & FAR BETTER!"

While calling Obamacare a "lie," and supporting repeal, Trump also wants to keep some provisions. They include requirements for coverage of people with pre-existing conditions and allowing young adult children to stay on their parents' policies.

Schumer and other Democrats say the plans of Trump and Republicans will leave millions without health insurance.
