Trump defends son Donald Jr. as a "high quality person"
Donald Trump Jr. released emails that showed him setting up a meeting to get 'incriminating' information about Hillary Clinton during the campaign. His father said his transparency makes Don Jr. a "high quality person."

Well, at least it's an endorsement, even if doesn't seem particularly full throated.
On Tuesday, just hours after Donald Trump Jr. released emails that led to a meeting with a Russian lawyer, his father released a statement via his spokesperson.
"My son is a high quality person and I applaud his transparency," President Trump said in a statement read by spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The president had previously been silent on the matter.
Twitter, as you can imagine, had a field day over the robotic sounding words.
