Kelly Clarkson is excited she got a mention in Hillary Clinton's book

German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

More than a century later, singer Kelly Clarkson adapted that saying for her song, "Stronger."

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," she belts during the chorus.

Both versions served as inspiration for Hillary Clinton, who included the original quote as the epigraph to her new memoir, What Happened.

And Clarkson couldn't be more thrilled.

"#WhatHappened is that my name is mentioned in @HillaryClinton new book!" the singer tweeted Thursday.

Clarkson backed Clinton in last year's presidential election, and faced some backlash for her choice.
