Massachusetts Rep. Joe Kennedy made it through his Democratic response to President Trump’s State of the Union address without awkwardly reaching for water or noticeably sweating, classic on-camera no-nos.
But his cadence. And enunciation. And word choice (audacity, let me be clear). Was very. Reminiscent. Of Barack Obama.
Kennedy appeared to have a sense of humor about his moment in the national spotlight. Just before speaking, he replied to a tweet about over-hydrating.
