For better or worse, President Trump's hair is often a topic of discussion.

The guilty party Friday morning? The president himself.

As he kicked off his speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump glanced at the screen he was being projected on.

"I love to watch that guy speak," he said, drawing laughter. Then he took notice of his hair.

"Oh god," he said, motioning his hands over his head.

He turned and pretended to shape his hair.

"I try like hell to hide that bald spot, folks," he told the crowd. "I work hard at it. Doesn't look bad! Hey, we're hanging in! We're hanging in."

Last month, the president's physician revealed that Trump takes a drug to combat male-pattern baldness.
