Here's the mugshot for Nashville Mayor Megan Barry, who resigned Tuesday
Megan Berry, the Nashville mayor who resigned Tuesday amid an affair scandal, pleaded guilty to a $10,000 felony theft tied to the affair.
Barry admitted in January to an affair with Rob Forrest, her head of security and a 31-year officer on the Metro Nashville police force. Both are married, and the admission upended her political career.
According to District Attorney Glenn Funk, Barry spent "over 10K but less than 60K" in city funds on Forrest.
The officer escorted Barry to hot yoga classes, hip restaurants and late-night concerts, racking up hundreds of overtime hours, according to a Paste BN NETWORK-Tennessee report, even when the mayor had no events on her calendar.
As part of a plea agreement, Barry agreed to reimburse the city $11,000 in restitution, resign as mayor and serve three years probation.
Police released her booking photo Tuesday.
