Earthquake shakes southern Mexico


MEXICO CITY (AP) — An earthquake has shaken southern Mexico, though there are no immediate reports of damage.

The quake hit at about 3:20 a.m. Thursday, causing alarm in Mexico City.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported it had a magnitude of 6.0 and was located about 107 miles (173 kilometers) southwest of Mexico City.
