World media react to CIA torture report

A report condemning the CIA's use of torture against suspected terrorists was released by the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.

Newspapers around the world led their front pages with the explosive story Wednesday, with British publications The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Daily Mail and The Scotsman giving it significant coverage.

The story also appeared in publications including Spain's El Pais, Germany's Bild, Australia's Sydney Morning Herald, The Times of India, and Hong Kong's South China Morning Post.
