Scientists spotted an extremely rare species of shark that's never before been spotted in Scottish waters. Biologists doing a deep sea survey caught this sofa shark, also called a false catshark. Researchers weighed and measured the shark, which came in at 6.5 feet long and 132 pounds, and then released him back into the water.
