Israel sentences 2 for Palestinian's murder
An Israeli court Thursday sentenced one Israeli to life in prison and another to 21 years in jail for the 2014 murder of a Palestinian teenager, Israeli media reported.
Both Israelis were minors at the time. The court has ordered that their identities be kept secret, the Jerusalem Post said.
The pair were convicted of murdering Mohammed Abu Khdeir, 16, in revenge for the death of three abducted Israeli teens. The incident was part of a series of events that culminated in the 2014 Gaza war.
A third Israeli is awaiting a verdict for his role in the crime.
