Watch: U.K. Parliament on lockdown after 'terror incident' nearby

LONDON - The United Kingdom Parliament is on lockdown after reports of a stabbing near the building and several people being mowed down by a car on nearby Westminster Bridge.

House of Commons leader David Lidington told members of Parliament that a police officer was stabbed and the suspect was shot by police, according to the Press Association News agency.

British police are investigating it as a "terror incident."
