Welcome to the working week. It's Monday and I'm Mike Snider here filling in for David to catch you up on the top Money stories.

Sports fans are still reeling from the news of the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others in a helicopter crash Sunday. We know his legacy on the court, but now will never know how successful his post-retirement career would have been. But prior to his death, Bryant had quickly grown into an economic force in business

Concerns about the potential economic fallout from the coronavirus outbreak will likely make for a bumpy day on Wall Street. U.S. stock futures were sharply lower Monday morning and international markets were down.
