What would Ned Stark do?

Thank you for being a subscriber to Paste BN's Postcards from Westeros newsletter. We know that "Game of Thrones" feels a world away in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, although maybe the episodes are providing some of you comfort right now.

We are reaching out because escapism and good art – two of the qualities that made "Thrones" such a successful TV show – are more valuable than ever as the world reels from COVID-19. As we stay home and deal with the health and economic fallout, we need distractions, coping strategies and anything to help us get through the weeks and months.

Paste BN wants to help, even just a little bit. We have launched a new newsletter, Staying Apart, Together, aimed at helping readers get through this unprecedented situation. Written by TV Critic Kelly Lawler, who you may remember from all those "Thrones" recaps, the newsletter will have plenty of TV watching recommendations and reviews, but also anything else that will help you get through a day. That includes recipes for all those canned goods you bought, mental health exercises, parenting advice, personal finance tips, photos of adorable pet coworkers, funny videos and at-home workouts. Sent twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, we want to offer you a balm and a sense of solidarity amid the chaos.

Thank you for supporting, and for subscribing.
