The Daily Money 5-7

Welcome to Thursday, which means we're inching ever closer to the weekend. Of course, that can mean very different things in the era of COVID-19, when you're either locked down, free to go where you wish, or somewhere in between.

Either way, the Daily Money team is here to keep you informed about all things retail, financial and tech. So let's dive in.

If that weren't enough, many are angry they received smaller-than-expected stimulus checks after they were garnished for their spouse's overdue child support payments. The IRS is now working to fix that.

And with everyone trying to sanitize surfaces, supplies of wipes are lagging. Clorox says retail shelves won't be fully stocked with disinfectant wipes and other cleaners used to combat COVID-19 until this summer.
