It's the 23rd anniversary of the start of interleague play in MLB, so we looked back at some of the best moments of AL vs. NL. Plus, check out the unrecognizable NBA star, an IndyCar flagman gets fired over comments about NASCAR and we are on the verge of the wild, wild west in the land of college footballScroll down to see the day's biggest sports headlines ... but first:

We recently asked why you fell in love with sports. These are those stories.

I was 9 years old in 1967 when my dad noticed that I liked to play football — even throwing the ball to myself if no one else was around. I came home from school one day and there was a package on the table for me. I eagerly ripped it open and inside was a Green Bay Packers T-shirt. Dad had secretly ordered it off the back of Wheaties box. It was and still is the best gift I have ever received.
