💡 INSIGHT OF THE DAY: Awareness of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin is higher among people of color, with half of Black Americans, half of Asian Americans, and 49% of Hispanic Americans saying they are familiar with it, compared with 37% of white Americans. ⌚ WHAT TO WATCH FOR: More ghost kitchens. They're kitchens established for the sole purpose of preparing food for delivery through apps. No dining room. No walk-up ordering. The latest chain to embrace the trend is Wendy's, which is opening 700 ghost kitchens in the U.S. and United Kingdom.
📰 And here are more stories you won't want to miss:
1. The Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Avalon and Mazda 6 are being discontinued. It's yet another round of cancelations for passenger cars.
2. The $1 trillion infrastructure proposal has $65 billion for broadband internet. Here's how that might affect you.
3. Twenty-seven people on board a Carnival Cruise Line ship tested positive for COVID-19. All but one were crew members.
That voyage is not to be confused with the Royal Caribbean cruise where six people tested positive last month – the one with our cruise reporter Morgan Hines on board.
