Resources by Reviewed: The expert's guide to college living
My youngest sister is headed to college for her freshman year, and like any good older sister, I've been sending her text after text on how to properly stock her dorm. Luckily for her, I've got an army of experts as my coworkers, and we've whipped up a guide to help students navigate the list of what they actually need to pack.
Bed risers are a must in almost any dorm. These small-but-mighty plastic pieces help you gain more storage area under your bed, so there's less clutter visible. And it's so much easier to focus when there's less clutter.
Speaking of focusing: it's simple to create a great study atmosphere from the comfort of your bed. Grab a pillow chair and turn up the noise machine, and you'll be set for that late-night study session. Or just have a comfy night's sleep — whichever you choose.
It's also important to stay safe and healthy during your studies, so be sure you pack a good first aid kit. And if you don't listen to anything else I say, please stay hydrated. I'm serious. Bring a water bottle everywhere.
That's all for now folks. Have a great weekend.
