Happy Fri-YAY and Bastille Day from Chicago. It's Medora and although temperatures here are not in triple digits, we have had some tornados and lots of rain. Well, at least the grass is finally green after a dry start to the summer.

While we were buying cat treats and Liquid I.V. during Amazon Prime Day sales, people were snatching up lotto jackpots! An unidentified buyer won a $1 million jackpot in Indiana, and a woman won a $2 million prize in Iowa. Are you and your cat feeling left out now? Me, too.

Good news, though. No one won the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, so the jackpot's climbed now to $875 million! We still have a chance. The next drawing is Saturday night. So let's go shopping again – this time, for a Powerball ticket! And don't forget to read our story on what you should do if you win big.
