Perks and Rec: These small space solutions are on sale

Outfitting any type of small space, especially a dorm room, can be tricky. Between the awkwardly sized furniture (hello, twin XL sheets I'll never use again) and regulations about what you can and can't bring to college (don't bring your scented candle collection, OK?), figuring out what will work in the space is hard. We have some suggestions to help you out. Plus, they're all on sale. 

The trickiest part, in my opinion, is the closet. These are our favorite hangers for small spaces, and they ring up just under $18 for a 30-pack. We also like these handy tubs that can fit under beds for storing sweaters, coats and other bulky items. This hanging organizer is great if you don't have a big enough dresser.  

A few other items you should pack: surge protectors, a slim coffee maker that gets the job done, a clip-on desk lamp and a Reviewed-approved mattress topper.
