Good morning, it's Medora this week. It's Monday, and I hope you're having a good start to the week.

For me, it's beginning to feel like fall already. I'm a morning runner, so the sun's been getting up later, and I'm enjoying those sunrise runs again. That hour of peace until I get home and realize I have to finish back-to-school shopping!

Have you seen how expensive things are? I've definitely heard all about it because my friend wants to know exactly why his first grader needs THIRTY glue sticks on the first day?! Welcome to grade school! My friend will have to buy the glue sticks (I don't think you can buy those used), but I'll share with him how to save and earn money elsewhere – like at consignment sales. Some of these sales are "the size of a super Walmart”!

Maybe with a little extra money in his pocket and a better mood, he can find a Funko collectible at one of these sales for his son. It might not be a genuine Funko, but maybe it doesn't matter because they're so cute, anyway.
