Reviewed’s guide to the Back-to-School season
We’re in the midst of back-to-school season here at Reviewed, with parts of the country gearing up for the first day and other parts already back in the classroom. Whether you have a student going off to kindergarten or college, we’re here to help you find the things they need to succeed this year.
For the kid headed to college
When it comes to shopping for college, you need to pack more than just some pencils and a colorful composition notebook. Outfit their dorm with only the best, from soft twin XL sheets to this $9 compact shoe organizer. Don’t forget your tech-list: we have recommendations for everything, from laptops to budget-friendly smart home accessories.
For the K-12 kid
The first day of school jitters are real—keep them at bay with the best school supplies on the market. We’ve rigorously tested the best backpacks for elementary students and high school students, with the Pottery Barn Kids Mackenzie and The North Face Borealis winning best backpacks overall in their respective age-ranges. Fill their backpack with the school supplies they need so they’re ready to go on the first day.
For the kid at heart
You’re busy during this season (even if you don’t have a student that you’re prepping for school), so take some time to enjoy the last few weeks of summer before sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes begin their rule. We have a few ideas to get you going: make a batch of sorbet, host an outdoor movie night under the stars or take a camping trip with your family or friends.
Have a happy August, friends.
