Perks and Rec: Level up your Labor Day dinner
There comes a time in every newsletter writer's life where they've earned a vacation. And there's no greater time for that than the late summer sun of Labor Day. While Sara Beth heads out to soak up some rays, I get to jump in and gossip with you about my favorite deals of the long weekend.
While relaxing this weekend is all fine and dandy, there's nothing more invigorating to me than an extra day to dip my toes into some dangerous culinary exploits. That has me all fired up for a hefty discount (we're talking hundreds off) HexClad cookware sets.
The chef nerd in me cares just as much about the approval from Gordon Ramsay as I do about the flying colors from Reviewed's. If it's good enough for Gordon, it's good enough for me to burn a veggie stir fry in. That's actually what I'm most excited for: their wok. I've been dancing around the idea of buying one, but just couldn't pull the trigger on the discount brand keep walking by at the store. And now I know there's no chance of my charcoal creation sticking to the wok.
They've even put together an everything-you'd-need Labor Day bundle if you're a big spender.
One disclaimer, though. And I know my mom would be proud of me for saying this. Don't you dare use metal utensils in your new pans. Consider this soft edge turner from Material, instead. You can pick your own color, but I think the terra rosa has the perfect level of pop. 😉
In the words of Sara Beth, "Happy shopping,"
