Perks and Rec: It's always good to be prepared
As hurricane season ramps up, we want to remind you to get the supplies now before storms strike. Even if you don't live in a hurricane-prone area, it's a good idea to be prepared in case of natural disasters. We've reviewed tons of emergency supplies, and a lot of our favorites are on sale today.
When we tested emergency preparedness kits, we found that this kit stood out among the rest. It's built to help two people for three days and includes water purification tablets, a hand-crank radio, ponchos and more. Today, it's on sale for $80. Grab one (or a few) if you want to be prepared without rounding up the gear yourself.
If you want to put together your own kit or add to what you already have, there are plenty of deals on individual supplies. Pick up a tried-and-true flashlight, our favorite first aid kit and this cooler for your perishables. Don't forget a radio—this one is solar-powered, so you won't have to worry about batteries.
Stay safe, and happy shopping,
