Good morning, it's Medora Lee from Chicago.

I'm super excited forecasts are for a 75-degree day here tomorrow and even better, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said we may have an unusually warm winter! From a place that's been affectionately called "Chiberia" and has been through a polar vortex just a short couple of years ago, you can understand how exciting a mild winter is for us, even if it's because of El Nino.

What's less happy, though, is the volatility in the stock and bond markets. The 10-year yield pierced 5% for the first time since July 2007 on worries the Federal Reserve will make good on a promise to keep interest rates high and because of ballooning government deficits. This is all weighing on stocks and the outlook for the economy, market strategists said.
