The best Mother’s Day gifts
A reminder: Mother’s Day is nine days away. Just because we’re in the single digits doesn’t mean you have to resort to a last-minute gift she may not like. We’ve reviewed great gifts for every type of mother, grandmother, aunt, and other maternal figures in your life.
For those who want to go the traditional route, some flowers and jewelry are your best bet. Our favorite jewelry gifts include a modern take on classic pearl earrings and a necklace great for new moms. When it comes to flowers, we’ve tried several delivery services and love UrbanStems, which offers beautiful blooms that you can send straight to their door.
If you know a mom with a very particular hobby, get her something she’ll actually use. Grab something for the aspiring chef, the book lover, the one with the green thumb, the gym rat or the marathon napper. If she’s looking for something new to do, might we suggest birding or pickleball?
Once you’ve wrapped your gift up in a bow and planned a Mother’s Day brunch, why not make a handmade card, too? Sure, you’re an adult and can buy one, but it’s a nice personal touch. (And really fun to make.)
Enjoy your weekend,
