Perks and Rec: The best sales to shop at Walmart, Athleta and more

Walmart is kicking off back-to-school shopping season with a big ol’ sale on everything your kid needs to start the year off strong. Grab notebooks, highlighters, mechanical pencils, binders and even cleaning supplies while they’re marked down. I’m eyeing a new set of colorful pens—even my to-do lists deserve to be pretty, OK? 

We’re also shopping a fantastic flash sale at Athleta, where activewear we love is marked way down. Our tester said that these high-rise leggings are one of her favorites, with soft fabric and a waistband that doesn’t dig in. If you’re good on leggings, grab a tank, tennis skort or some joggers to round out your athleisure collection. 

Once you’re done, log off if you can. We all deserve a little extra R&R today.
