Perks and Rec: Everything is 40% off at the Gap

Earlier this week, my sister-in-law texted me that she had to bring a sweater on her nightly walk in her Hudson Valley neighborhood. To me, an Alabama resident, this was unheard of. Sweaters? In August? Preposterous. But it reminded me that, although we’re in the throes of summer now, fall is quickly approaching—and I couldn’t be more excited. 

To grab some fall style staples for less, head over to the Friends and Family Sale at Gap. Sweats and tees are half off right now, and everything else is 40% off. I, obviously, am scouring the sweater section for lightweight layers and oh-so-soft cardigans, but I’m also eyeing a skirt for myself and some jeans for my husband.  

Once you’re done shopping for fall, take a beat and enjoy the summer, even if that’s just opening your blinds and feeling the sunshine on your skin. It’ll be autumn before you know it.
