Clean up on aisle Biden

Hi all. It’s Rebecca Morin, senior national news reporter at Paste BN. One day I’ll catch up on all the TV shows I’ve added to my watchlist…

We’re six days until Election Day. Polls are still showing a razor-thin election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The two candidates are jumping between several key swing states today. Follow along for all the election news here.

Harris breaks with Biden over 'garbage' comment about Trump's supporters

  • Harris on Tuesday evening delivered her “closing argument” to undecided voters where she laid out a contrast between her and Trump. She called on voters to “turn the page” on the former president – who she said is only concerned with retribution. She laid out her plans to lower costs for Americans, from the grocery store to health care.
  • From laying out how her presidency would differ from Biden to pitching a message of unity, here are the six takeaways from Harris’ address.

But Biden wasn’t the only person who is under fire for “garbage” comments.

Donald Trump on Tuesday held a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania – a city where almost half the population is Latino and many are Puerto Rican. Trump has tried to distance himself from jokes a comedian made at his Madison Square Garden rally calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.” But the former president didn’t get a very warm welcome from Boricuas in Allentown.
