Trouble in paradise
Elon Musk, once a fixture at the White House, doesn’t want the blame. In a media blitz since scaling back his work with President Donald Trump’s administration, Musk complained about criticisms of the Department of Government Efficiency and said he was dismayed that the president’s sweeping tax and policy bill passed by the House increases the budget deficit. Musk said DOGE, which he led, “is just becoming the whipping boy for everything,” in an interview with the Washington Post. What Musk said about DOGE.

Trump-Harvard clash heats up
The feud has reached fever pitch. President Donald Trump’s General Services Administration directed all federal agencies on Tuesday to explore ways to cut remaining contracts with Harvard University – escalating the ongoing feud between the president and the Ivy League school. Just days before that directive, Trump attempted to ban Harvard from enrolling international students, a move that was immediately blocked by a federal judge. A pardon fit for reality TV
Donald Trump, a reality star turned two-time president, is pardoning Todd and Julie Chrisley of "Chrisley Knows Best" fame. The couple in June 2022 were found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks in Atlanta out of more than $36 million in fraudulent loans, defraud the IRS and commit tax evasion. Julie Chrisley was additionally convicted of obstruction of justice and wire fraud. Trump called the Chrisleys' middle daughter, Savannah Chrisley, to share the news of the impending release, where he said “your parents are going to be free and clean,” according to a video posted to X on Tuesday by White House communication’s advisor Margo Martin.
