Imported cars, pharmaceuticals, apparel and more could grow more expensive in the months to come as the United States imposes a 15% tariff on most imports from the European Union. 

Analysts have labeled the agreement a win for President Donald Trump. But for U.S. consumers, even this modest import tax is expected to spur higher prices.

Not everyone likes Sydney Sweeney's jeans

This time, it isn't Sydney Sweeney's bathwater causing controversy. It's her jeans. (And if you don't know the "bathwater" reference. . . Don't ask.)

The 27-year-old "Euphoria" star is featured in a new American Eagle Fall 2025 denim campaign with the tagline "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans." The collection services a good cause: The "Sydney Jean" sports a butterfly motif to signal domestic violence awareness. But some observers find the ad too "sexy" for a charitable cause. And there are other, darker concerns.
