Charity and achievement: Two awesome stories that show all that's right about sports
#BillsMafia shows up
Buffalo Bills fans, known colloquially as #BillsMafia, are known for their charity. They outdid themselves this past weekend. After Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was injured, Bills fans mobilized, figured out his favorite charity was the Louisville chapter of Blessings in a Backpack and generously donated more than $150,000 to the cause.
Hard work does pay off
Dee Mitchell walked-on to the Oklahoma State basketball team two years ago. He works at Walmart to pay his way. On Saturday, his hard work was rewarded. Watch the amazing moment when he was given a scholarship while at work.
