Sorry about your bracket. But Oral Roberts (and the rest of the Cinderella squads) is just too much fun.
Your bracket is ruined. We know. Your bracket is usually ruined by this point in the men's NCAA Tournament, but not quite like this. Double-digit seeds are littered throughout the Sweet 16, including Oral Roberts, just the second No. 15 seed in *history* to reach the second weekend.
More from what has been a massively exciting first two rounds:
- So who, exactly, is Oral Roberts? Read our explainer!
- Loyola Chicago is back in the Sweet 16. Dwyane Wade wants in on the action.
- (The Ramblers' run, however, should come as no surprise.)
- 'His life is a movie': Meet Jason Preston, Ohio University's unlikely star who led the Bobcats past Virginia
- BYU landed the first upset of the women's tournament.
- Syracuse barely made the tournament but Jim Boeheim has his squad alive.
- Oregon went crazy and bounced Luke Garza and No. 2-seed Iowa.
Canceled program? No problem.
Stanford made the undoubtedly difficult decision to cut its wrestling program following the 2020-21 school year. That didn't stop Shane Griffith. The Cardinal grappler won an NCAA title while he and his teammates donned black singlets as a show of disdain for their school's decision.
"Obviously, just want to make this nationally known, hopefully get it overturned. We got a lot of young guys staying, trying to fight the battle."
