4th & Monday: Push for playoffs kicks into gear while the Browns are still ... the Browns
Your move, Browns. The San Francisco 49ers finally broke through for that elusive first win of 2017, humbling an already downtrodden Giants team.
That leaves the Browns as the NFL's only winless team. And while Cleveland gave Detroit a run for its money on Sunday, the crazy sequence at the end of the first half proves the Browns just might always be ... well, the Browns. Who was at fault for the play in question? That depends on who you ask.
But while Cleveland seems destined to claim the top spot in the NFL draft again in 2018, a number of teams are vying for playoff spots as the competition for the postseason has started to heat up. The Patriots, Steelers, Vikings, Saints and Rams all won to improve to 7-2 as the 8-1 Eagles sat back and watched while on their bye week.

THE MUST-SEE MOMENTS YOU MISSED
— Things got pretty emotional in San Francisco when 49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin scored a touchdown just hours after he and his wife lost their baby boy to pregnancy complications.
— Credit to Bears coach John Fox, who made the worst successful challenge in NFL history.
— After 672 days, Teddy Bridgewater made his return from a devastating knee injury. He couldn't hold back the tears.
— Saints RB Mark Ingram should've thought twice about jumping into a rowdy Bills crowd after scoring his first-quarter touchdown. Ingram was met with a cold beverage to the face from the "Bills' Mafia." And that wasn't the only incident of Bills fans behaving badly Sunday.
— The Jaguars-Chargers game was dull for the first 58 minutes. Then things got real.
— When the Jaguars embarked on a frantic rally to beat the Chargers, rookie running back Leonard Fournette spent most of his time on the bench.
— You have to see how a Walmart subtly mocked the Falcons' Super Bowl LI loss.
— It was awkward in Atlanta, where Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Falcons owner Arthur Blank avoided each other amid some disagreements among NFL owners.
— Ezekiel Elliott wasn't the only key Cowboys player missing Sunday, and one of those key losses contributed to the Falcons' Adrian Clayborn having a career game with six sacks.
— A sideline reporter for the Philadelphia Eagles took time to blast Dak Prescott after the Cowboys' loss Sunday. Dallas WR Cole Beasley was having none of it.
— Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict, who has already been suspended this season, was ejected after making contact with an official during Sunday's game vs. the Titans. What's more, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy the ejection.
— The NFL's concussion protocol was called into question in Week 10. Colts QB Jacoby Brissett and Falcons RB Devonta Freeman each played despite clearly showing symptoms of a concussion.
— Who needs two hands to catch a touchdown pass? Redskins wideout Maurice Harris -- who was just promoted from the practice squad this week -- sure doesn't.
— Last week, Giants coach Ben McAdoo had an embarrassing halftime speech. On Sunday, Fox turned that into a hysterical parody.
— McAdoo continued to be a living meme in Week 10. After losing to the previously winless 49ers, the Giants coach had a bizarre answer to a postgame question about trying to motivate his players.
— ICYMI above: was anyone surprised the Browns botched an excellent chance to score near the goal line (even if the Lions may have sneakily cheated a little bit)?
— One gentleman on the Broncos sideline got drilled directly in the head by a thrown-away pass by Brock Osweiler.
— The scariest moment of the afternoon occurred when Saints RB Daniel Lasco was taken off the field in an ambulance following a special teams collision vs. the Buffalo Bills. The Saints said Lasco suffered a spine injury but had feeling in his extremities.
— Reports of Roger Goodell's contract demands were met with widespread ridicule.

THE RUNDOWN
Saints 47, Bills 10: The sizzling Saints trampled the Bills with six rushing touchdowns for their seventh consecutive win.
Packers 23, Bears 16: Brett Hundley delivered a late touchdown pass as the Packers held on for their first win since Aaron Rodgers was injured.
Lions 38, Browns 24: Detroit won its second consecutive game but looked worrisome down the stretch in having to hold off winless Cleveland.
Titans 24, Bengals 20: DeMarco Murray scored three total touchdowns to help the Titans keep pace at the top of the AFC South.
Steelers 20, Colts 17: Pittsburgh scored 17 unanswered points and eked out the win on Chris Boswell's tiebreaking field goal as time expired.
Vikings 38, Redskins 30: Case Keenum threw touchdown passes to four different receivers as Minnesota maintained a two-game division lead.
Jaguars 20, Chargers 17 (OT): Late blunders doomed the Chargers again as the Jaguars won in overtime for their third consecutive victory.
Buccaneers 15, Jets 10: Tampa Bay prevailed in an ugly one and snapped a five-game slide with its first win in over a month.
Falcons 27, Cowboys 7: In their first game without suspended Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys appeared lost as the Falcons dominated.
Rams 33, Texans 7: The top-scoring Rams started slow but turned it on in the second half to scorch the Texans and improve to 7-2.
49ers 31, Giants 21: Already floundering, the Giants hit an embarrassing new low in a loss to the previously winless 49ers.
Patriots 41, Broncos 16: The Patriots demolished the Broncos and very much have the look of a Super Bowl contender.
Seahawks 22, Cardinals 16 (Thursday): Seattle got the win, but it proved costly when Richard Sherman was lost with a torn Achilles.
EYES ON THE (FANTASY) PRIZE
The Chargers may have uncovered a new offensive weapon in rookie running back Austin Ekeler. With starter Melvin Gordon struggling to find running room, Ekeler was particularly effective in the passing game, with five catches for 77 yards and two scores. The only downside was a costly fourth-quarter fumble.
Injuries to the Packers' top two running backs pressed rookie Jamal Williams into service. Williams had 20 carries for 67 yards (3.4 per carry), but he could become the Packers' workhorse if injuries to Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery linger.
The Bengals have been looking for someone to step forward as a complement to star receiver A.J. Green. In Week 10, veteran Brandon LaFell was the man, hauling in six of 10 targets for 95 yards (all season-highs) and a 37-yard touchdown.
A one-game suspension for Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans gave rookie Chris Godwin his first NFL start — and his most extensive playing time. Godwin was targeted 10 times and responded with five catches for 68 yards.

INJURY UPDATE
— Colts QB Jacoby Brissett briefly left the game after several hard hits, including one that appeared to leave him woozy, but did not miss any snaps. Brissett did not enter the league's concussion protocol during the game, but did after the loss, according to the team.
— Cowboys LB Sean Lee left in the first quarter with a strained hamstring and did not return during the loss to the Falcons.
— Steelers CB Joe Haden suffered a non-displaced fracture of fibula head and will not require surgery, according to an ESPN report Monday. The Steelers are bracing for a five-to-six week recovery.
— Falcons RB Devonta Freeman exited in the first quarter after taking a hit to the head and was later diagnosed with a concussion.
— Packers RB Aaron Jones suffered what the team fears could be a serious knee injury and did not return. Ty Montgomery took over as the primary ball carrier only to also leave the game with a rib injury.
