It's beginning to sound more and more like Tom Brady won't be back in New England
For an event that kicks the NFL draft season into overdrive, the NFL scouting combine has included a lot of speculation about Tom Brady.
While prospects started going through workouts on Thursday night -- yes, the first prime time showcase for the "Underwear Olympics" -- there's to be plenty of behind-the-scenes maneuvering regarding soon-to-be free-agent players. One of those players will be Brady.
Speculation has been rampant enough that Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner went as far as to suggest an ideal landing spot -- as well as a not-so-ideal place -- for the six-time Super Bowl champion.
It's going to be a fascinating nearly three weeks until free agency officially kicks off on March 18.
