'A year of trial and error': Fans can expect very different NFL TV viewing experience
The 2020 NFL season is still more than three months (we hope) from kicking off.
And, this will be an NFL season unlike any other in the league's 100-year history.
A still-threatening global pandemic means NFL games could have a very different fell.
- Empty stadiums.
- Virtual fans.
- Natural sound from the field.
- Fake crowd noise.
- Laugh tracks for football follies?
"I think the one time we probably could use a laugh track is if we see another butt-fumble like the Mark Sanchez play," Al Michaels of NBC's "Sunday Night Football" told Paste BN Sports.
Networks are considering a myriad of possibilities to enhance the TV viewing experience.
"I see this as a year of trial and error," Michaels said. “As we go along, we’re going to learn on the fly."
