About last night: No NFL game ☹️ -- But turn those frowns upside down, football fans. "Thursday Night Football" returns next week with a high-octane NFC East rivalry game between the Giants and Eagles.
Game of the Week I: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers -- The Steelers are 4-0 for the first time since 1979. The Browns are 4-1 for the first time since 1994. The Browns, however, have lost 16 straight games in Pittsburgh, a streak that dates back to 2003. Is this the year the Browns finally get a win at Heinz Field?
Game of the Week II: Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- A showdown between two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks who wear the No. 12. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers have squared off twice before, splitting those games. On Sunday comes the rubber match.
Game of the Week III: Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills -- Both teams are coming off humbling losses. This matchup of 4-1 teams -- which was pushed back from Thursday to Monday -- seems like it could be a turning point for either side.
Sneaky-good game of the week: Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers -- Teddy Bridgewater and the Panthers are going for a fourth consecutive win. Standing in the way are Nick Foles and the Bears, who are coming off a big win over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
Survivor Pool Game of the Week: New York Jets at Miami Dolphins -- The run of "whoever is playing a New York team" now is on its fifth week. The Dolphins are coming off dropping a 40-burger on the reigning NFC champs. The Jets had an adventurous week off the field. Full disclosure: Previous picks have been been the Steelers (Week 1 ✅), 49ers (Week 2 ✅). Colts (Week 3 ✅), Rams (Week 4 ✅), Cowboys (Week 5 ✅).
