Steelers face Ravens in titanic AFC North battle. Plus, Week 8 picks and fantasy football advice.
It's Week 8 and once again an AFC contender will take a shot at knocking off the undefeated Steelers. Before we dig deeper, enjoy these:
- Which teams will emerge victorious in Week 8? Our experts make their picks.
- As always, we're here to help you set up that fantasy football lineup.
About last night: Falcons 25, Panthers 17 -- There would be no fourth-quarter collapse this week for Atlanta, as the Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson intercepted Teddy Bridgewater – who was briefly knocked out of the game on a hit that got Charles Harris ejected – with under two minutes remaining to preserve the victory. The Falcons are now 2-1 under interim coach Raheem Morris.
Game of the Week: Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens -- Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell said that "there's no bigger rivalry in professional sports" than Steelers-Ravens. Campbell hasn't even played a game yet in this bi-annual showdown for AFC North supremacy. Will the Paste BN Sports power rankings curse catch up with the Steelers?
Sneaky-good game of the week: Los Angeles Rams at Miami Dolphins -- The Dolphins are starting rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa for the first time. That alone makes this a must-watch game, especially if you consider how well his first-round contemporaries -- Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert -- have played. However, waiting on the other side of the line of scrimmage will be Aaron Donald, who could make Tagovailoa's first start a rough one.
Survivor Pool Game of the Week: New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs -- The "whoever is playing the Jets" strategy is paying off big-time. Take the Chiefs. Full disclosure: Previous picks have been been the Steelers (Week 1 ✅), 49ers (Week 2 ✅), Colts (Week 3 ✅), Rams (Week 4 ✅), Cowboys (Week 5 ✅), Dolphins (Week 6 ✅), Bills (Week 7 ✅).
