Wow, that was an ugly TNF game! Plus, expert NFL Week 5 predictions, fantasy advice.
Welcome to Week 5, and LOL if you watched that entire "Thursday Night Football" gameπ€’.
About last night: Indianapolis Colts 12, Denver Broncos 9 (OT) – This one was so bad that many Broncos fans were seen exiting the stadium before the start of overtime. Good news, sports fans, the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears play on TNF and the Broncos are on MNF next week! π€£
Game of the week: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens – The Bengals ended the Ravens' dominance in the series emphatically last season by not once, but twice, boat-racing the Ravens en route to winning the AFC North and eventually reaching the Super Bowl. The AFC North figures to come down to these two teams this season. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is off to an MVP-worthy start; Bengals QB Joe Burrow has bounced back after a rough first two games and faces a leaky Baltimore defense he absolutely torched (941 yards, seven touchdowns) last season.
Reason to tune in early Sundayβ°: New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers (in London) – The NFL has been playing regular-season American football games in London since 2007. Shockingly, for the first time ever, the International Series game will feature two teams with winning records (both teams are 3-1). Also, the Packers will be the last NFL team to play an International Series game.
Where are these teams heading? Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams – Cooper Rush has won all three of his starts with Dak Prescott out with an injury, further boosting the always grand (oftentimes disillusioned) expectations of Cowboys fans. The defending Super Bowl champion Rams have stumbled out of the gate. This feels like a must-win for the Rams, who – as Monday night's loss to the 49ers might indicate – could struggle against the Cowboys defense.
