Commanders win another TNF dud. Al Michaels implores Daniel Snyder to sell his team. Plus, expert NFL Week 6 predictions, fantasy advice.
Welcome to Week 6, and we hope you already set up that decorative gourd display because this weekend is an absolute banger for both college and NFL football.
About last night: Washington Commanders 12, Chicago Bears 7 -- Yeesh, another Thursday night dud. The Football Team formerly known as the Washington Football Team was the least-worse team at Soldier Field. Fun fact: For the second straight #TNF game, 12 points was enough to prevail. Next week: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals.
Game of the week: Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs -- Remember that epic divisional playoff game between these two teams last season? Yeah, let's do that again! The Chiefs edged the Bills in overtime in one of the NFL's greatest all-time playoff showdowns (per our Nate Davis). Fans will look to early MVP contenders Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes to put on another show Sunday afternoon.
Another game of the week: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles -- NFC East, and quite possible National Football Conference, supremacy will be on the line in Philly, where the Cooper Rush-led (probably) Cowboys (4-1) meet the unbeaten Eagles (5-0) in a "Sunday Night Football" showcase. The Cowboys bring a fierce pass rush (just ask LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford) that will attempt to get to the slippery Jalen Hurts, who has won his last eight regular-season starts, the best such streak in the NFL.
Sneaky-good game of the week: Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants -- The Giants (4-1 ... yes, you read that right) are riding high after a big win across the pond against the Green Bay Packers. The Ravens also are coming in feeling good following a primetime victory over the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals. A win here for the New York Football Giants should thrust them into NFC contender status.

NFL news, notes and analysis
- What to watch for in Week 6: The Bills and Chiefs meet in a rematch of their playoff classic. The Eagles put their unbeaten record on the line against the rival Cowboys.
- Rams face identity crisis: The defending Super Bowl champion Rams are 2-3 and looking far from formidable. Coach Sean McVay is searching for answers, Jarrett Bell writes.
- Dan Snyder is bigger embarrassment to NFL than any dirt he may have: NFL owners aren't paragons of virtue but do love money, so the death knell for Snyder should be that his ownership costs the league millions, Nancy Armour writes.
- Dak Prescott or Cooper Rush? Hall of Famer Troy Aikman says if Dallas beats NFC East rival Philadelphia this week, QB decision "becomes a real question" for the organization.
- Why is NFL mum on decision to yank Teddy Bridgewater? Bridgewater was pulled after one play by a spotter last week. The QB passed tests, but won't start Sunday. The NFL has yet to explain the call.
- Is Panthers job an attractive one? The answer is complex after the team became the first to make a head-coaching change this season.
- Good, bad or indifferent: NFL is our national conversation: MLB, NWSL and MLS are in their playoffs. The NBA and NHL seasons are starting. Yet, all anybody is talking about his roughing the passer penalties. Must be good to be the NFL, Nancy Armour writes.
Fantasy football advice: Get your Week 6 lineup right
